I know a lot of you believe Fox is sick in the head and needs psychiatric help. That's fine. That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. Many of you have also expressed the opinion that Desiree's pretty fucked up too.
But let me show you someone who is really fucked up. Someone who's comments really should be considered a basis for having an objective fear for one's safety.
Yesterday, I noticed someone posting comments from the same IP address, but he/she was using different names and different email addresses. Many of his/her comments were very violent and very graphic. Then, I noticed he/she was submitting comments using the names "Richard Riess", and the email address desiree@desireecapuano.com.
After searching for all comments from that IP address I decided that person was just trolling and added the IP address to the spam filter, and I removed all of his/her comments other than the first one he/she posted.
After being "blocked", he/she continued to post comments, even though he/she knew they weren't being published. Most of the comments were directed at Fox, specifically - not to the readership.
This morning, I decided I would approve his/her comments anyway, but I'd add his/her IP address to the name they posted as (so that readers could see they were all from the same person).
Let's have a look at some of what this person has written, knowing that his/her comments were not being published:

In my fantasy, [Fox] has his belly slit open and he’s lying on the floor but he’s still alive. Rats are chewing on his intestines as they spill out of his open body cavity onto the floor. There is blood everywhere. He has a screwdriver lodged in his left eye. His mouth is duct-taped shut so he can’t say anything, but he is crying silently.

Now that is some fucked up shit! Particularly since it's coming from an IP address which appears to be in Vancouver, the writer purports to be a stranger who has never met Fox, and he/she posted over 100 comments in less than 24 hours, knowing the comments weren't being published.
You think the RCMP should be looking at Fox for criminal harassment - you should be more concerned about this sicker fucker. Thankfully, we have his/her IP address, which is owned by Shaw, which means Shaw would be able to trace the messages back to the specific DOCSIS device; which means his address would be easy for the RCMP to obtain.
Some of his/her comments, though, do actually seem like the kind of stuff Desiree would, or has, said to Fox. And a couple of points he/she mentioned were things that wouldn't be known by many people other than Desiree. I suppose it's entirely possible it is Desiree, routing through a VPN.
Oh, well, hopefully he/she doesn't act out his/her fantasies.
I was lead here because of CBC and other media coverage. You are becoming quite famous. The reason isn’t so much the content of your website as the issue raised by the BC government of Internet Censorship of “Offensive Materials”. Did you think that I wouldn’t post this? The site is running on a server which is also hosting other sites. If people deliberately attempt to bring it down with a DDoS attack then I believe that would raise some legal issues for the parties participating, wouldn’t it?
Besides, there is nothing illegal about what I’m doing. If you don’t like it then don’t come to the site. Just because you disagree with what I’m doing doesn’t give you the right to commit a criminal offence against a third party hosting provider.

I don’t think my address and phone number are confidential. I would have no legal recourse if you chose to post it online. You may notice, however, when this story become a big deal in the media and the site activity shot up I removed the address and phone number. Admittedly, it was in part due to a number of commenters urging me to do so, but regardless, I agreed with the reasoning and I did so. I’m not entirely unreasonable.
No it would not. Technology DDOS is perfectly legal. Cops even do it. They even hire people to hack sites.
Well, if it’s legal and it wouldn’t harm third parties then by all means. Though, I still think it’s misguided because I’m well within my rights to voice my opinion of what I consider Desiree’s offensive conduct. You can stop looking at this website at any time, you know?
Not to mention, this is a matter between Desiree and myself. It really has nothing to do with all these other people who have been chiming in. I’m not affecting any of you. Do you really think that Desiree needs the help of the general population? She’s much more crafty than you all think.
If DDOS tool can be found on google play. It be a way for the Host to discontinue your services. Its been done before when a host would not take done sites.
And I’ll just move it to another provider. And if it happens again, I’ll move it again. And if I need to I’ll got back to hosting it on my own server. You’re not going to get me to take the site down – it’s just not going to happen.
As you said “this is a matter between Desiree and myself” so why did you add your son to this? Why make a site like this? if its a matter between Desiree and yourself you could still have created a site like this and kept it private with a password. So now it’s the matter of the general public aswell.

You do know your speaking with an Anonymous Member right. I’m giving you a chance to shut down this site and let bygones be bygones before all hell breaks lose. Who knows I may even have some damning information about you that you don’t want others to know.
I don’t see how your affiliation with any particular group should influence me to take down the site. I also don’t see why you would think that you have any vested interest in any of the issues between Desiree and I.
Even if someone did submit a DDOS attack on the server the sight would come right back up after it’s rebooted. Even if the hosting provider said I had to move the site, I could just transfer it to a VPS in the same data center. Then you could attack all you like. In the absolute worst case, I would simply switch the DNS entries to point to one of the backup servers. You might cause a bit of a nuisance but I assure you, the site is not going away.
Keep up the good work! The people that support you, are for the most part, quite well spoken and understanding of the situation. As for the people that disagree with the content, their comments really speak for themselves. The site is informative and mild compared to the some of the threats made by a few commentators. Are these being monitored by the RCMP?
If not, why not?

Richard apparently you can dish it out but you can’t take it. I don’t see a single threat noted above, just a copy of what you’re doing very publicly to someone else, and some pretty graphic fantasies of wanting to see you in pain.
