Gabriel's financial needs and savings
I receive my first paycheck on July 19, then every two weeks thereafter. I will be putting at least 10% of my income into a savings account for Gabriel's long term needs (including tuition, surgery, et cetera). In addition, I will be setting aside a fund for his current and ongoing needs (including clothing, health care, education, et cetera). These accounts are in excess of funds I will provide him for his personal use and enjoyment. If, at any time, you or Gabriel identify any need do not hesitate to let me know and I will address it immediately. I absolutely WILL NOT play the stupid childish games that you played, Desiree, where I refuse to give you money when it is for Gabriel's benefit, and I WILL NOT do stupid things like tell you to take him to the shoe store and let me know the ones he wants so I can send them to him. Moreover, I WILL NOT refuse to provide for him, or buy him things he wants, when he is not in my physical care. I don't care if you are asking for help or not - it's my duty as his parent to contribute and provide for him and I will. I don't require a court order to know what is right and I will not wait until the court tells me to do so before I will do what is right. I also want to make it clear that this is my intention until such time as Gabriel comes home (obviously). Until that time, I intend to live as frugally as possible and spend every last dime I make (other than what will be allocated/provided for Gabriel) on the best attorney I can afford. Since January I have had one mission - getting Gabriel home and making sure you will never be able to cause either of us ANY more grief and misery. I am happy here in Vancouver, and I know Gabriel is going to love it here. My new job is great, the money is very good, the company treats my very well...and they've already been informed of the problems you've tried to cause in the past. I have discussed it with Gabriel, on numerous occasions, and he has expressed that he absolutely wants to come back with me and that he wants to come to Vancouver. As long as that is what Gabriel wants then his return will remain my singular goal. Sincerely, Fox
