Legal Notice: Deadline for responses to discovery requests

Desiree:

I spoke to Henrik earlier and he informed me he had forwarded you the
discovery requests I sent him on January 31, 2012.

California Code of Civil Procedure section 2030.260 requires that you
serve your responses, along with the requested documents, or your valid
objections articulating why/how the requested documents and information
are privileged, within 30 days of the date of service of the requests.

The official date of service of the requests is January 7, 2012 (five
days after the date of mailing) so the deadline to serve your responses
is March 8, 2012.  I realize that is later than the date of the hearing
but, unfortunately, the court scheduled the hearing very promptly.

If I do not receive your responses before the hearing on February 21,
2012 I may have to request a continuance on order to be able to obtain
and review the documents and responses prior to the child support
hearing.

Please let me know, at your earliest convenience, if you will be able to
provide your responses before the February 21, 2012 hearing.
