Gabriel's Passport
I received this notification indicating that the documentation I have was not sufficient for the passport division. I believe it may have been a simple matter of the order being unstapled and restapled (I used this document to enroll Gabriel in school and they photocopied it). I did not know this would void the certification of the document. I do not have the ability to obtain another certified copy in time for the December visit so I am asking that either Mr Lozano obtain it from the court and get it to me so I can send it in, or that Mr. Riess complete the other document making this unnecessary...I have no preference other than whichever method will get this re-submitted the fastest. Thank you,

Desiree: Oh boy, what a surprise that the passport would be delayed...I sure never saw THAT coming. (I'm being amazingly sarcastic) The "Mr. Riess" referred to in the letter is Gabriel, not me. Due to the court order, which YOU requested, it would be illegal for the passport office to issue Gabriel a passport based on my consent. My consent means absolutely nothing in this matter because YOU have sole legal custody. I have referred the matter to Mr. Lozano and would prefer you deal with him directly because I just don't have the stomach for you anymore. Good day. Fox

It took you 26 minutes to come back and say this was my fault. I think that's a new record. If you'll remember, I brought this up as a potential issue in court but YOU, the Judge and your attorney said it would work...but sure - I can see how it's on me. I will certainly work directly with your attorney, he's nicer.

I've been asking you to get Gabriel's passport for months. But because you were more concerned with playing your stupid power games you kept refusing. You, and you alone, are responsible for putting this off until the court finally ordered you to get it done. Also, you stated in court that you already had a certified copy of the court order. So that is your fault as well. Hire your own attorney to go to the court and get the document for you or pay my attorney his fee of $300/hour - because I am sure as hell not going to pay my attorney to do your work. Good day. Fox

So you knew ahead of time that the paperwork being unstapled would make it not certified? If so, then you are just as much to blame as I am for not mentioning it, because I had no idea. Maybe you did it on purpose to try and make it seem like I'm not living up to the court order! I'll deal with your attorney like you told me to since it's entirely revolting having to deal with you in any way.

I knew ahead of time that you would try something to delay getting the passport in time so that Gabriel would not be able to make the trip. The document was not rendered "uncertified" because the staples were removed. The problem would have to be that what you have is not actually a "certified" copy. It was your responsibility to know that and you claimed in court that what you had was actually a "certified" copy. If you don't know what "certified" means then it is your responsibility to hire an attorney to assist you. Fox

Desiree: Please help me understand something. You said: "So you knew ahead of time that the paperwork being unstapled would make it not certified? If so, then you are just as much to blame as I am for not mentioning it, because I had no idea." However, many times in the past I have tried to inform you on matters of the law and you responded with comments like "...I never asked for your help..." and "...why would I trust your advice...". But now, you're saying I am just as much to blame as you are if I knew something and didn't tell you, because you didn't know. So, are you saying that everything that happens in the Universe is supposed to happen according to your convenience? Because it sure as hell sounds that way. Anyway, even if I did know something about the law or the passport application process and didn't tell you it doesn't matter because it's YOUR responsibility and not only am I, and my attorney, not required to educate you on the law, it would be very bad legal strategy for us to do so (you don't generally try to help your opponent). Listen, I'm sorry you think I'm doing this on purpose. Gabriel was sitting right there when the lady at the courthouse said the stupid staples might be a problem. I figured (wrongly) that since the check cleared that everything was fine. My fault or not, this bickering does not solve the problem. I think it's good for for Gabriel to go up there - he's excited. If I had a problem with it I wouldn't have said I agreed in my declarative response. I will do what I can to get this paperwork back into the passport office as soon as possible but I need someone in Los Angeles to get it. You can continue to fight with me or we can work on a solution. Your choice.

The problem is that the copy of the order you have is not a "certified" copy.*Gabriel was sitting right there when the lady at the courthouse said the stupid staples might be a problem.*One thing you have been very consistent with is that when you know you've been caught, or you're in trouble, or there's absolutely no chance at all that you will get you're way, then, and only then, you start talking about wanting what's best for Gabriel, and wanting him to have a relationship "with both parents", et cetera. Any other time you refuse absolutely every request I make. And, actually, you never said, in your declaration, that you didn't have a problem with Gabriel coming up here - you did clearly and directly state that you believed if he came up here you would never see him again (you should have reviewed your declaration before the hearing - my attorney tricked you because you forgot what you said in the declaration). Also, a few weeks before the hearing I asked if Gabriel could come up here during his Fall Break and you flatly refused. How do you do it - switching from one lie to another, minute by minute? You just say whatever serves your interests at any given moment, without consideration for what you said two minutes ago. It's amazing.* I think it's good for for Gabriel to go up there - he's excited. If I had a problem with it I wouldn't have said I agreed in my declarative response.*Alright, so what's the problem? There are about 15 million people in the Los Angeles area. And thousands of them are lawyers who would be very willing to help you with this. I remember sending you an email in July, pleading with you to not make me have to spend thousands and thousands of dollars, that could be spent on Gabriel's future and education, on an attorney to get you to undo the trouble you had done. And, you refused. So, I have now spent many, many thousands of dollars on an attorney (because you have made it so I can't be present at the courthouse in person, to represent myself). And now you have the gall to ask for my help with this? Just a few days ago you refused to let Gabriel visit Liz in Los Angeles for two days on his way back from his winter break - for no reason other than I was the one requesting it. And you dare ask me for help...Help which would cost me about $400 in attorney fees (for his time). You're a fucking crackhead!* I will do what I can to get this paperwork back into the passport office as soon as possible but I need someone in Los Angeles to get it.*Wait, there is another choice - I can do nothing (not help you AND not fight). You're freakin' AMAZING!!! It's like you have absolutely no memory at all. Like every single thing that has ever happened in the entire history of the world ceases to exist as each moment passes and nothing that happened more than 5 seconds ago has ANY relevance. DUDE! How dare you ask me for ANYTHING or suggest that I'm bad because I'm not willing to help you fix a problem you created. Have you really forgotten EVERYTHING you've done over the past 2 years? Leave me alone. Fox* You can continue to fight with me or we can work on a solution. Your choice.*

Another question about your own statements:
If the woman at the courthouse told you the staples might be a problem then why didn't you correct the potential problem at that time by contacting the court (or even my attorney) to obtain a proper copy of the order at that time instead of submitting a document that you admit you were warned would probably not be acceptable, thereby creating a circumstance that you knew would result in you not being able to obtain the passport in time?
